RICOMAN provided nursery and primary school lighting to Willow Wood Community Primary School at Winsford.

Willow Wood Community Primary School is a happy and successful learning community where everybody is welcomed, supported and challenged to achieve their best.

RICOMAN were asked by the contractor to provide lighting solutions for this new school build which included comprehensive lighting designs, and providing lighting solutions. This is the range of lighting RICOMAN designed and supplied to the school:

• Ricolite panel lights (obsolete, now replaced by Verve UGR TP(a) rated panel lights) these are in classrooms and play areas
• Blade Exit Sign in the corridors and exit/entrance areas as emergency lighting
• Ultra-Slim downlights in transit places and exit/entrance areas as general and emergency lighting (connected to our Emergency Pack)

Nursery and primary school lighting can help pupils concentrate, enhance their well-being and safety; this is why we ensure the correct lighting specification is used in all of our educational lighting designs. The selection or LED lights used in Elements Primary School is just a small sample of what RICOMAN can supply to a lighting project for an education institute.

Our Academy curved linear luminaire is the type typically used in school and education environments, featuring exceptional efficacy of 120 lumens per watt, 4000K, TP(a) rated polycarbonate opal diffuser and also possibility to add antimicrobial coating for maximum hygiene protection.
