Stockport
Academy
RICOMAN completed a secondary school lighting project in 2017, supplying lighting to the Stockport Academy Educational Institute.
Stockport Academy is a non-selective co-educational school within the English Academy programme, located in Cheadle Heath, Stockport, Greater Manchester. It caters for children aged 11–16 and has approximately 869 pupils on roll.
RICOMAN lighting was installed as part of refurbishment to a number of rooms. The specifiers chose RICOLite UGR TP(a) rated panels (now replaced by Verve UGR) for the dining room and theatre areas.
Secondary school lighting can help students concentrate, enhance their well-being and safety; this is why we ensure the correct lighting specification is used in all of our educational lighting designs. The selection or LED lights used in Elements Primary School is just a small sample of what RICOMAN can supply to a lighting project for an education institute.
Our Academy curved linear luminaire is the type typically used in school and education environments, featuring exceptional efficacy of 120 lumens per watt, 4000K, TP(a) rated polycarbonate opal diffuser and also possibility to add antimicrobial coating for maximum hygiene protection.
RICOMAN have also completed many other education lighting projects (primary schools, colleges etc.), which you are able to see in our education lighting project section.
