RICOMAN completed an arts school lighting project, specified to provide all of the lighting for a new build primary school.

Ramsgate Arts Primary School is a new, two-form entry primary school with a focus on the ‘Arts’ (music, dance, drama and art). We are located in a bright, modern, spacious building which encompasses state of the art technology and designated spaces (such as our dance studio, music room, art studio and gallery) which facilitate our Arts Curriculum.

Most of the classrooms were lit by RICOMAN TP(a) rated flicker free recessed luminaires. These are now obsolete and replaced by our Verve UGR Panel lights with similar (even more upgraded features).

Our Meteor range (discontinued now) was also used in the art classrooms. Same result can be achieved by our Estrella and Estrella Pro linear ranges.

Arts school lighting can help pupils concentrate, enhance their well-being and safety; this is why we ensure the correct lighting specification is used in all of our educational lighting designs. The selection or LED lights used in Ramsgate School is just a small sample of what RICOMAN can supply to a lighting project for an education institute.

Our Academy curved linear luminaire is the type typically used in school and education environments, featuring exceptional efficacy of 120 lumens per watt, 4000K, TP(a) rated polycarbonate opal diffuser and also possibility to add antimicrobial coating for maximum hygiene protection.
