Lynch Hill School
RICOMAN designed and supplied the school lighting for Lynch Hill Primary Academy. Lynch Hill School Primary Academy (LHSPA) is an Outstanding Ofsted-accredited state-funded non-selective, all-ability, non-denominational primary school, taking students between the ages of 3 and 11.
Our lighting designers wanted to do something really inspired in the dining room, so they came up with the idea to suspend our Alphard -traditionally- surface mounted light and the result was stunning as seen on the main photos.
Alphard is an architectural halo bulkhead featuring:
- Modern architectural styling
- Black as standard, white option as a special
- Available with integrated microwave, emergency or combination
- IP65 Rated for high humidity areas
Most of the classrooms were lit by RICOMAN TP(a) rated flicker free recessed luminaires. These are now obsolete and replaced by our Verve UGR Panel lights with similar (even more upgraded features).
Ultra-Slim downlights were used both in the atrium, to add this extra touch of brightness and in the main reception.
Our Academy curved linear luminaire is the type typically used in school and education environments, featuring exceptional efficacy of 120 lumens per watt, 4000K, TP(a) rated polycarbonate opal diffuser and also possibility to add antimicrobial coating for maximum hygiene protection.
