Lighthouse Offices

Consultant office lighting doesn’t have to be boring. On the other hand, it can be creative as RICOMAN proved, by providing a functional and aesthetically pleasant lighting solution for Lighthouse Offices.

Lighthouse Risk Services are health and safety consultants, providing health and safety training and all aspects of H&S regulations. The project was updating the existing building This included bringing the lighting up to standard.

RICOMAN worked in conjunction with Burnell Hewitt and supplied the light fittings along with assisting with the lighting design. The main challenge of this job was the top floor. That had a couple of existing wooden beams that needed to be kept in situ and worked around.

Starting from the ground floor, there was a need for low surface fittings there. Therefore, RICOMAN in collaboration with the contractors opted for the following lighting products:

1. Core UGR 600c600 panel lights on the grid ceiling. These are ideal for offices thanks to their effective glare control and TP(a) rating
2. Academy curved linear surface mounted fittings. These feature a TP (a) rated diffuser too and also integrated emergency

The first floor was just the right place to use the Estrella Simplicity linear. Photos show the black suspended version with a low glare diffuser for added UGR control.

This consultant office lighting project was completed in March 2021. As a result,  the site managers and the contractors were really happy. The clean, functional lines, working around some lovely oak beams gave a contemporary touch to the place.
